Meet Our Team
Dr. Christian Hugo Hoffmann,
Director and Head of AI
Dr. Christian Hugo Hoffmann is the CEO and Co-Founder of House of Lab Science AG. He has a PhD in Management from the University of St. Gallen and was formerly an Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Liechtenstein. Additionally, he has submitted a second PhD thesis on Artificial Intelligence to the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Apart from being passionate about Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academia, Christian is a tech entrepreneur by heart with three software start-ups in Germany, Switzerland, and Malawi under his belt. Moreover, Christian served as Deputy Director and Head of AI at the Swiss Fintech Innovation Lab in Zurich, as Director of Startup Grind Geneva, and continues to fulfill his role as AI community manager for the Technopark Zurich. Dr. Jay Siddharth,
Director and Head of Labs
Dr. Jay Siddharth, MBA, is the Chief Strategy Officer at the House of Lab Science. He has more than 14 years of international work experience in the life sciences R&D environments, having worked in large companies such as Novartis, Nestle and startups. Jay is an expert on catalyzing and accelerating innovations in the life sciences business, leading from concept to R&D, PoC, and supporting all the way to product launch and life-cycle management. He often applies knowledge from one field and pivots it for use in another, using often far-flung fields of science. As a former Investment Director, he coached, reviewed and assessed hundreds of startup pitch decks. Jay holds a PhD in Biotechnology from Pune University, India, and an MBA from EPFL with a focus on innovation and technology.
